It was a long drive, So far from here And I just want to be clear I never saw this man but somethings telling me Might even work in the industry, But I guess that’s irony The fact we’ll never meet Duly noted, unless you’re devoted then I’ve got a story, a pen and a notepad But if you ever hear this, I can never know that An ironic angle for me to arrive at I’d thank you profusely but I’ve made my mind up I wrote you a new name but I’m not sure I can spell it Mr Anonymous, Mr Anonymous Mr Anonymous… Thanks for watching the show We’ll see you on the radio Suggestions are filed and I’ve reconciled so don’t try to over throw (x2)

A 2 chord groove this is how I feel I think it says enough on how I feel about you, Love me I’d rather news than the chord you use, your music views are cast upon the country It’s 10 to 3 on a Monday I thought that the weekend would have done me in But I’m getting thirsty Where’s the flavour the bad behaviour, the drugs and booze you could hear in the 70’s (Chorus) I’m getting bored it could be so much more There’s many modes and there’s many more chords I understand this amount of devotion But you could try To add a little emotion (Verse 2) I’ve got muddy shoes and a CD too, goodbye field I had a very nice time Cue the music, the therapeutic, the De’ja’vu that will help me unwind 11:42 on a Sunday a can of stout has led to an interesting find There’s a Guinness helpline It’s thirst for thought that led me to an alcoholic drinks label lyrical rhyme, It’s an Irish pastime 2 Chord Groove (Chorus) I’m getting bored it could be so much more There’s many modes and there’s many more chords I understand this amount of devotion But you could try, you could Add some flavour, add some soul, some funk and blues or even rock and roll I understand this amount of devotion But you could try To add a little emotion, a little emotion, a little emotion (Bridge) Boom Boom its like I’m on fire, this energy has got me all inspired (x3) To spit bars an swim in to the deep sea sleep it off you’re still buzzin Boom Boom its like I’m on fire, this energy has got me all inspired (x2) To spit bars an swim in to the deep sea sleep it off you’re still buzzin Boom Boom its like I’m on fire, this energy has got me all inspired To spit bars an swim in to the deep sea sleep it off you’re still buzzin Boom Boom its like I’m on fire, this energy has got me all inspired To spit bars an swim in to the deep sea sleep it off you’re still buzzin Etc...

You should see inside my fridge All plumbed in with an ice dispenser Gleams upon the shiny ridge Fancy tech with a thermo sensor Could be a complex of neuro science but I feel affection for home appliances Smile for the microwave Maybe I just like my own reflection Leave on all the cellophane Safety first with the scratch protection Could be a complex of neuro science but I feel affection for home appliances You should see inside my fridge Healthy space for a wide selection Nicer than a fancy bridge Frostless freezer, ice collection Could be a complex of neuroscience but I think im in love with my home appliances The kettle has a lovely taste Friends for life with a kitchen electrical Boils at an admirable rate I wouldn’t say fast but nobody’s perfect Could be a complex of neuroscience but im writing songs for my home appliances I wanna give you a name, name, name I wanna take you to Spain, Spain, Spain You look like you might have a great personality But we’d be exceeding the luggage capacity Would you be my valentine I could buy a bottle you could cool my wine A frozen chilli for me But that’s just the way you like life to be You’re full of energy You keep me going both night and day Maybe we should run away Maybe we should start a new life today

Ive been counting, a quick financial over view And I don’t want this job as much as you think I do, No Im not boasting, no negative numbers are still my home But you walk around and kick me down in those fancy shoes, no Just relief on duty, or relieve my duties (x4) Every week is different, every month its due The council want to charge me but im still stuck in the cue But these are problems that im used to Im not stressing over you You can keep your delegating, cos ive got better things to do Prince charming, a corporate smile I can see right through I laugh when you break down in your BMW Ive been thinking, about everything in my life a And I don’t want this job as much as you think I do Just relief on duty, or relieve my duties (x8)

Not once have I broke a bone but I’d say I’m 97.7% of what I used to be Head, shoulders, knees and toes no cat’s got my tongue but a dog’s bitten off my nose We could put it all back together With bits here and there don’t touch my hair but you can take a small piece of my life if it helps the cause Because a second hand jigsaw’s what I’ve got but I wont find the missing piece in a charity shop It’s hard to say, what really happened that day A kind of blur but its furry I’m going to stick to the story In many ways I’ve really changed my play A taxi to and from the party So I don’t fight with curiosity I remember the morning after all Oh, waking up in burton with a facemask on With my beard stained red and a sheet stuck to my head I remember how life was before I’ve woken up and now I try to focus more I’d say I’m wiser now I’ve found out life’s full of surprises The worst by far ‘s the price to park my car It makes me all apprehensive Could it be more expensive In many ways I’ve really changed my play A taxi to and from the party A vicious bite from curiosity I remember the morning after all Oh, waking up in burton with a face mask on With my beard stained red and a sheet stuck to my head I remember how life was before I’ve woken up and now I try to focus more I’d say I’m wiser now I’ve found out life’s full of surprises Wiser now and that surprises me I’d say I’m wiser now And it’s surprisingly refreshing

about

We have been categorised into many genres, but never only 1. On our journey to finding the "new sound" we took too much, had a few too many and ended up somewhere around whatever we are now. Like a 21st century list of genders, our musical fluidity knows no bounds. Through combining heavy folk instrumentation with elements of rock, funk, pop-punk, blues and dance, we have crafted a unique recipe for original music. Giving no time for break-up songs or long lost love, our light topic lyrics are our musical diary for present time life. After performing on the BBC Introducing stage at Latitude, our wake up call wasn't to stop but rather to grow. We now come full force with a new EP in our 6 member line-up. Naturally progressing from part of a drum kit to a full one, as well as added synth and brass, we release this EP as an indication of what may follow. Enjoy these 6 tracks, recorded by us, mixed by us and mastered by us, Homegrown original music in it's truest form.
